Sash Recruits New UK Sales Manager as part of National Development Programme

South Yorkshire window, door and conservatory fabricator, Sash UK Ltd, has appointed Greg Kane as its new UK Sales Manager to reinforce the company’s UK presence.

Preston man Greg, 29, said ‘Sash’s national development programme is aimed at increasing the company’s UK customer base. This already stretches from Lands End to John O Groats and includes customers in both the Orkney and Channel Islands.

‘Initially I will be looking to take on two more Business Development Advisors to represent the North/Midlands and the South West/Midlands. It is essential that we get the right team in place to effectively service Sash’s expanding national client base’, Greg added.

David Ruzicka, joint Managing Director at Sash said, ‘As we continue to reaffirm our position in both the UK and US it has become necessary to distinguish between our national and international markets. We are very optimistic about the positive impact our development programme will have on the company’s activities’.

Greg has done his research and is very enthusiastic about his new posting. ‘I’ve been watching Sash UK from the side lines for some time now. It’s not every day that the opportunity to work for such a progressive company comes along’, said Greg. ‘In the short time I have been here at Sash, the company and its operations have already exceeded my expectations.

‘I will be office based for two to three weeks working in each department to gain full understanding of how the company operates. Then I am keen to get out to meet our current customer base and find out how we may better service their needs. This is absolutely paramount before we even begin to think about bringing new customers on board’, Greg added.

So the next few months look set to be very busy for Greg especially considering that he has a toddler at home and ‘one on the way’! ‘Sash UK Ltd would like to take this opportunity to welcome Greg on board and wish him all the best for his new role as UK Sales Manager and father of two’, said David Ruzicka. Greg Kane joined the PVCu product manufacturer from MPH Windows in May.

New Local Authority Sales Manager for ARP

Aluminium Roofline Products Ltd, ARP, has added a new team member Andrew Clarke as Local Authority Sales Manager. Andrew’s responsibility is to introduce more Local Authorities and Housing Associations to the Mustang® continuous guttering system. Since ARP first started 21 years ago over 5,000 miles of Mustang® aluminium guttering has been installed.

Andrew comments: ‘Although ARP has been working with and partnering Local Authorities and Housing Associations since we started, only 5% of the public sector housing guttering installations in continuous aluminium at present. That represents huge potential in this market.

Making more Local Authorities and Housing Associations aware of the benefits of Mustang® will be my first step, which shouldn’t be too difficult because it’s the only continuous aluminium gutter system to have BBA approval – 30 years life expectancy. Coming from a previous role in specification work, I joined ARP because it is a customer focused company and the support the company provides ensures top customer satisfaction for both products and service. I’m looking forward to developing even more partnerships with Local Authorities and Housing Associations.’
