Hill
Brings Expertise to Kenrick
Kenrick,
the UK window and door hardware manufacturer, has announced a major
new appointment as the company continues to expand. Mike Hill joins
the firm as Sales Director from Basta Parsons bringing a wealth of experience
and knowledge of the PVCu window industry to the firm.
With 18 years of window and door hardware sales experience under his
belt, Mike brings a level of expertise which the company says will enable
Kenrick to position itself as the manufacturer of choice for fabricators.
Commenting on his new role, Mike says:
I am looking forward to the challenge of leading Kenricks
sales drive. This is a very competitive market where innovation and
customer service are key to success. Kenrick has the technical capability
to quickly meet fabricators needs and we are always investing in new
people and technology to develop new products.
Kenrick has a long heritage which is one of the reasons that attracted
me to the company. A business with over 200 years of history and commitment
to customers and innovation was a combination I couldnt resist.
Mikes career in the PVCu hardware industry started with PVCu distributor
Heinz Wagner, a new partner to Kenrick as a distributor. During his
18 years in the business, Mike has worked for some of the leading manufacturers
& distributors, and spent the last five years as National Sales
Manager for Basta Parsons.Mike Hill continues:
The window and door hardware industry has seen a significant downturn
recently, but Kenrick seems to be bucking the trend. We have recently
won business with some significant well known accounts, through a combination
of product quality and focus on bespoke requirements and have entered
some exciting partnerships with distributors. A huge amount of work
prior to my joining has been carried out at Kenrick to set the scene
for what I am quietly confident will be a successful year.
The trend towards cost effective security has enabled Kenrick
to demonstrate its strength, with excellent product design and quality.
To ensure this quality in the future we are expanding our technical
team to ensure that Kenrick stays at the forefront of quality and innovation.
Kenrick already has some extremely loyal customers, one has been
successfully using our Excalibur shootbolt for eight years, and it is
my role to maintain the quality of service these customers have come
to expect, while also looking to grow the business through new partnerships.
There are some exciting new products in the pipeline to add to
the existing range which I am sure will add to the success of our most
recent launch, Easi-Fit. Kenrick is in a strong position to capitalise
on current industry trends and I anticipate a busy year ahead.

New
Local Authority Sales Manager for ARP
Aluminium
Roofline Products Ltd,
ARP, has added a new team member Andrew Clarke as Local Authority Sales
Manager. Andrews responsibility is to introduce more Local Authorities
and Housing Associations to the Mustang® continuous guttering system.
Since ARP first started 21 years ago over 5,000 miles of Mustang®
aluminium guttering has been installed.
Andrew comments: Although ARP has been working with and partnering
Local Authorities and Housing Associations since we started, only 5%
of the public sector housing guttering installations in continuous aluminium
at present. That represents huge potential in this market.
Making more Local Authorities and Housing Associations aware of the
benefits of Mustang® will be my first step, which shouldnt
be too difficult because its the only continuous aluminium gutter
system to have BBA approval 30 years life expectancy. Coming
from a previous role in specification work, I joined ARP because it
is a customer focused company and the support the company provides ensures
top customer satisfaction for both products and service. Im looking
forward to developing even more partnerships with Local Authorities
and Housing Associations.
