Mightons
Pocket Sized Guide
Mighton
Products Ltd,
a sash window hardware specialist, has recently launched an A5 catalogue
that works with its website to cater for as many customers as possible.
The 31 page catalogue contains 92 items, including Mightons suite
of Powersash, Fenestrator and Ultrashoe.
Mike Derham, Managing Director of Mighton, explains: Many sash window
hardware companies rely entirely on their websites to communicate with
their customers. We felt it was important not to forget that some fabricators
and installers still like to refer to catalogues rather than visit websites.
The added benefit for installers is that if they cant get online
to our website when they are on a job and need to order something, they
can refer to the catalogue and place their order over the phone.
And if its before 4.30pm we can have the items out to them the next
day.
This helps us maintain the fast and reliable service that installers need.

Deceuninck
Launches Specification Guide
Deceuninck
has introduced its new specification guide, a comprehensive catalogue
which gives specifiers and contractors detailed information on the complete
zendow® product range and associated ancillaries.
The
multifaceted catalogue can be split into two comprehensive sections. The
first section consists of a detailed summary of Deceuninck, the services
and the intensive research and development behind system zendow®.
The second half presents in-depth technical data and specifications on
all zendow® product permutations and associated ancillaries whilst
demonstrating the performance qualities of the Deceuninck product range.
The fifty-two page brochure has been designed with a spiral bound mechanism
which allows the catalogue to lie flat when open. This ensures the reader
can check accurate measurements with complete ease and confidence.
Commenting on the new literature, Commercial Director Jon Skinner said,
Our new specification guide is a concise, informative and practical
catalogue which will benefit specifiers, architects, contractors and fabricators.
Deceuninck has always held an enviable position within the commercial
arena, and our new specification guide will support our efforts in this
area. The modern, original style of the catalogue, once again demonstrates
our commitment to innovation which we continuously adopt.
The specification guide is available from stock. Alternatively the guide
has been produced on CD-rom in an easy navigational format. Both products
are available direct from Deceuninck commercial department.

Reflex
Brochure
The
smart conservatory roof glass reflex
has a new updated colour brochure which explains all the benefits of using
a true conservatory roof glass.
Many conservatory installers have switched to the reflex product because
of the powerful branding, with the logo inside the units and on all the
packaging homeowners now know they are getting the real thing and not
a cheap alternative.
The double-glazed toughened safety unit keeps a conservatory cool in summer
and warm in winter, the new brochure shows how this is achieved with a
choice of subtle blue tint for reduced glare or clear for maximum light
transmission of up to 70%. Solar factors reflecting up to 75% of solar
heat on reflex+ options and U-values down to 0.9 are achievable.
Reflex can do this because it features the very latest in polymer nano
film coating technology rather than just low e coatings. The reflex product
is a true solar control IGU.
In a modern and informative format the new brochure details out why reflex
is a good answer for conservatory glazing and why home owners should invest
in this modern technology IGU for increased comfort in their favourite
room.
An advanced 'Easy Clean' surface treatment with high resistance to corrosion
and staining keeps reflex glass units looking fresh and makes dirt easy
to remove with water. Argon filled units with warm edge super spacer technology
reduce noise from traffic and rain by 20% compared with normal glass units.
Powerful shapes software linked directly to automated IGU manufacture
lines, make reflex glass ordering and processing problem free. Templates
are a thing of the past now and remakes are down to on site breakages,
which can be re-delivered to site in twenty four hours.
After two years of continual product development and monthly sales of
more than 5000 m2 a month now, reflex has fast become the conservatory
glazing product for many fabricators and installers across the UK.

Pilkington
gets Tough with Datasheets
Accessing
information on glass for safety and security applications has just got
easier. Pilkington Building Products - UK
has produced new literature that shows how glass can be used to provide
optimum protection.
One
datasheet has been created on Pilkington T glass - toughened glass five
times stronger than ordinary glass of the same thickness. A second datasheet
focuses on Pilkington Optilam, Pilkington's own laminated glass, which
is suitable for safety, security or noise control. They outline the benefits
of each product and provide details on available sizes and thicknesses.
Pilkington Optilam laminated glass remains in place in the event of accidental
or deliberate impact, depending on the specification. The datasheet provides
useful test performance and sound insulation details, advice on glazing
and application details.
With both products bearing the Pilkington brand name customers, specifiers
and end users are assured that the glass is of a consistent quality. Trusted
for their superiority and reliability, Pilkington Optilam and Pilkington
T glass are backed up by the technical expertise that exists within the
company.
To obtain a copy of the datasheets email mailto:pilkington@respond.uk.com

Customer
Choices Optimised in New Installer Brochure from CWG
Corby
Windows Group
says that its installer customers are poised to gain from the benefits
provided by the new Choices brochure launched by the company.
Already, sales to home and building owners are being generated because
of the easy to understand layout, excellent pictures, attractive design
and modern lifestyle format.
With
the Choices selection, the Corby Windows Group has a wide
and versatile range of windows, doors & conservatories and CWG has
designed the new brochure to assist installers.
CWGs Chief Executive, Dennis Marrison explained, By developing
our extensive product range over recent years, our main objective has
been to provide the widest choice. So in just about any situation, no
matter what a home owner wanted, they could get it from one of our installer
customers. The project has been very successful for us and our customers.
However, we asked many of our installers how we could help them to improve
their success even further. Many asked for a decent brochure that showed
the products in as many installations as possible. Their experience indicated
that options should also be included so their customer could identify
and specify upgrades to customise their windows, doors and conservatory
to their exact need. The result, after a great deal of thought and development,
is the new Choices installer brochure. Beautifully produced
and easy to use, its crammed full of features and benefits.
CWGs trade customers can, in turn, customise the Choices
brochure. With sixteen pages of attractive pictures and clear descriptions,
Choices is printed on high quality paper but without any reference
to the Corby Windows Group. This means installers can have their logo
printed on the front with logo and address details on the back. Thus,
Choices becomes specific to their own marketing and sales
activities a tool, designed to help installers win more business.
