In co-operation with glasstec, the world's no 1 event for the glass industry, the 5th Glass Technology India will take place from 15th-18th November in 2007 in Mumbai.
At the last event in 2006, some 222 companies from both the manufacturing, processing and finishing of flat and hollow glass and the glass product and application sector took part in the event and were happy with their results.
India has experienced some recent rapid growth in the float glass sector - a market which was pre-dominantly a sheet glass market until six years ago. Float glass currently has 70 percent market share and is driving growth in the sector. The sector has been growing at 8 percent for the last couple of years and is expected to grow at the rate of 10-15 percent in the coming years.

The European trade fair Polyclose will be held for the 13th time at the Flanders Expo in Ghent on Thursday, January 17 to Saturday, 19 January 2008, with an area of about 28,000m2.
In addition to the traditional sectors, profiles (PVC, aluminium and steel), window systems, roller doors, door panels, veranda systems, safety and automatic locking systems, access control, hinges and locks, sealing materials, ventilation grids, machines and tools, glass and accessories, software , the sunblind group has grown into a full-fledged sector with 30 exhibitors. Other sectors present at the fair are also certain to expand in the future.

New halls for 2008
Willy Viethen, Project Manager of fensterbau/frontale at NürnbergMesse, already has firm plans to expand the leading international role of this exhibition in 2008: 'We will extend the successful basic layout of this year’s event for 2008 by adding the new halls 7A and 4A.
