Our client is a progressive and growth orientated manufacturer of uPVC
Doors, Windows and Conservatories. Selling exclusively into the trade
sector they have experienced substantial growth over the last three
years and have an aggressive strategy for further growth in the next
three years. These plans include not only recruitment of field sales
personnel but investment in capital investment and the implementation
of a creative marketing strategy.
They are looking to appoint a New Business Development Manager for the
Northern Region covering Staffordshire to Scotland; applicants must
be resident between Birmingham and Glasgow and ideally on the M62 corridor.
Your remit will be to manage sales in two ways; in tandem with one of
five field sales representatives and by developing and managing your
own key accounts. As this is a new business development role, there
will be a minimum amount of account management in the initial stages.
You will have the backing of a Customer Support team which will provide
statistical analysis on customers and prospects, product and marketing
support; a first rate culture of product quality and a high level of
service delivery.
Applicants will have a proven track record of winning new sales; the
ability to close long term and profitable deals is paramount. We welcome
applicants from all industries but naturally those from the door, window
and glazing trade, architectural hardware, aluminium profile supply
or other building products will be given preference. This position will
suit an ambitious and energetic individual who is looking to develop
their career towards management.
