Windows & Doors, a unit of SBP Ltd, part of the Epwin Group one of
the UK’s largest PVC-U manufacturing companies covering specialist
sectors of the home improvement and new housing markets are currently
recruiting an Area Sales Manager (South). With an annual turnover in excess
of £200M, the Group employs around 2400 people and is continuously
growing.
In this role you will be required to introduce new business by introducing new products, increasing range and sell package concept. Previous sales management and manufacturing experience is advantageous although is not essential, knowledge of product ranges including curtain walling would prove to be a great asset to organisation.
Responsibilities
• Ensure customer records (electronic & hardcopy) of each account is held at correct location (Include packages, rebates & machinery agreements)
• Provide a detailed monthly report on sales performance
• Provide competitor intelligence and market developments
• Support line manager and other departments, in all respects of the business in order to ensure effectiveness of operation
• Participate in national & management meetings (power point presentations)
• Operate as a senior manager with the foresight and flexibility to adapt the role in to other areas of benefit to the company
Skills
• IT literate - working knowledge of excel, word, powerpoint and cad drawings
• Excellent communication & organisational skills
• Team Player
In order to complete work tasks accordingly you will occasionally be required to stop overnight, details of which will be discussed at interview stage.
