Windows & Doors, a unit of SBP Ltd, part of the Epwin Group, operating
in Telford are recruiting for a Business Support Representative to join
their team.
This role provides a unique opportunity to be involved with one of the most significant developments in the 30 year history of one of the UK’s largest PVC-U manufacturing companies. As a member of the sales team within, you will sell a genuinely unique and strong package of products and offer support to fabricators and installers.
This is a pure new business generation role converting window and securing their procurement needs with local fabricators. You will support the window installer accounts direct. All orders placed by the window installers will be managed by the fabricators, with additional assistance from Area Sales Managers where necessary.
Key Responsibilities
• Prospect targeting:
- Identify key opportunities
- Understand prospect key issues
- Communicate organisations proposition benefits
• Prospect lead escalation from cold call to first order
• Liase with the General Manager to identify prospects and agree call plan
• Create self-generated leads:
• Develop generated leads
• Manage and achieve area new business targets
• Liase with General Manager and Area Sales Managers to address sales volume shortfalls on tactical basis
Experience
• Minimum two years field sales experience
• Knowledge of the building products market useful
• Degree qualification advantageous although not essential
• Experience of working different lead types, particularly cold calling
Personal Skills
• Approachable manner
• Confident
• Excellent communication & organisational skills
• Computer literate – Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Powerpoint
• Self-motivated
• Team player
