UK Sales Manager

As producer and marketer of "ClearShield", Ritec International Limited is the industry leader in low-maintenance (Low-M), easy-clean surface protection systems for glass.

With over 85% of our business currently to export markets we are now seeking to further develop our UK home market by appointing a professional Sales Manager to bring experience of market development and implementation of sales strategies to our team. Our objective is to further increase revenue from business to business selling in the new flat glass market, including architectural specification, window and conservatory glazing, shower and appliance glass, and decorative glass markets throughout the UK.

The applicant must be able to demonstrate relevant selling experience, knowledge of the flat glass industry, consistent success in account management and the achievement of excellent customer service. An awareness of Low-M surface technology would be an advantage at interview although full technical training and technical sales support will be provided.
The applicant will be expected to sell "hands-on" to a number of established accounts, develop new business and lead and manage a UK sales team. Location is not important since the company has a national client base but the company operates from north London and frequent travel will be required.

Good communication and presentational skills both verbal and written are essential as is the ability to produce and deliver logical strategic action plans and effective selling strategies.

Energy, experience and enthusiasm are key requirements to fill this vital post in our fast growing and innovative organisation.
Subject to qualification and experience, salary will be in the range of £32,500 per year with a commission linked to sales expected to generate total earnings of between £40,000 and £50,000 annually.
