PBM-DQS is one of the largest independent distributors of low-maintenance building products in the UK. Since 1988, PBM-DQS has grown to incorporate over 30 branches nationwide, Insulated Glass Components, Recycled Street & Leisure Furniture & is one of the largest fabricators of the highly technical Ultraframe Conservatory Roof System.

PBM-DQS now requires a Group Operations Director Designate. This role requires a person who has the vision and ability to redefine the operational / logistic strategies and systems to deliver improvements to exceed customer and business expectations. The ability to work as part of a team to meet objectives and managing change across all elements of the business is vital with experience of working within a multi-site environment would be preferred.

The job: -

• Assess our current operation and logistics status
• Formulate a new strategy
• Plan and manage the roll out of the strategy throughout the group
• Develop a continues improvement system to support and maintain progress
• Work with the Board with development of the Group strategy and forward planning
• Day to day managerial requirements
