Client:

VEKA plc is the UK subsidiary of VEKA AG a major European PVCu Extrusion company, with world wide subsidiaries. They are a recognised market leader, with a significant UK presence, providing quality window and door systems widely specified and well respected. VEKA are successful and ambitious with a reputation for exceptional support, customer care and quality, with a friendly culture and strong business ethics and are seeking an individual to join and help develop the small and ambitious commercial team.

The Role:

Reporting to the National Commercial Sales Manager the successful candidate will be expected to ensure that VEKA remains the profile of choice for existing specifier clients and to forge strong new relationships with decision makers throughout the supply chain for fabricated and installed product thus building sales for VEKA customers. The role is not just to gain specifications for VEKA but to ensure that these translate into contracts for VEKA fabricators and then to help them forge mutually beneficial relationships. The role will involve complete territory management including involvement in the budgeting process and delivery of agreed targets.

Candidate:

Well educated with a thorough knowledge of the construction specification market. Technically competent (product training will be given)
• Successful track record of winning contracts not just specifications and then working as part of the team to ensure profitable delivery
• Target driven, passionate and an excellent communicator
• Able to present in a formal setting at all levels
• Organised, structured in approach and computer literate
• Competitive with a will to win
• Able to lead and manage complex client/fabricator relationships in conjunction with fabricator account managers.
• Working mainly in the Northern part of the UK, willing to travel and work away from home when required

Remuneration Package:

A generous negotiable salary
