company, with subsidiaries in Europe, China, USA and the Far East. They
are a recognised market leader, with a significant UK presence, providing
quality window and door systems for commercial, trade and retail fabricators.
They are successful and ambitious with a reputation for exceptional support,

ethics and seek an individual to join this forward looking contract management
team.
The Role:
VEKA is seeking a Contracts Manager to act as the important link between
the end user and the fabrication and installation Team Companies in this
cooperative construction contract environment. Working mainly on site
the role will entail planning and co-ordination of construction, frame
fabrication and installation schedules and facilitating best practice
delivery of the installed fenestration. Working as the facilitator as
well as ensuring standards and good practice a diplomatic, disciplined
and knowledgeable approach is required. The role will involve representing
VEKA and Team Companies at pre contract and contract meetings.
Candidate:
Intelligent, thorough analytical and disciplined approach
• Detailed knowledge of the construction process and good practice
in the fenestration industry, working knowledge of contractual issues
• An assertive diplomatic approach with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Excellent planning skills and ability to coordinate disparate resources
• Principled with a strong ethical approach to match VEKA’s
own values
• Able to problem solve and think creatively to achieve results.
• Working mainly in the South East, willing to travel and work away
from home when required
