Reporting to the Managing Director, your role will be to plan and deliver new products and product variants in a timely and cost effective manner, meeting challenging targets.
The role will involve interaction with a highly motivated internal team as well as the need to build external relationships with both customers and suppliers.
Your understanding of market needs and customer requirements will enable you to play a leading role in the further development of an attractive and cost effective range of products
Significant amounts of travel will be required visiting customers, suppliers and potential suppliers worldwide.
Experience within the door and window industry, particularly hardware is desirable. A strong understanding of manufacturing processes is essential
A qualified engineer with a working knowledge of 2 and 3D CAD systems, particularly Solid Works would be an advantage
Demonstrable record of successful project management and new product delivery isrequired
A strong negotiator with a disciplined approach, who can work hands on when needed.
A good communicator with a real will and determination to succeed
