As one of the UK's leading Hardware Companies, facilities include Design, Manufacture and Distribution of hardware components; from Handles and Hinges to Locking Systems and accessories. Fab and Fix has over 5,000 product lines used by fabricators of PVCu, Timber, Aluminium, Steel and Composite materials; located in a modern distribution site based in Coventry.

The Role:

Due to the retirement of the current National Accounts Manager a successor for this exciting but demanding role is required. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director the successful candidate will be expected to ensure that Fab & Fix continues to grow national distributor accounts. The role will involve complete distributor management including involvement in the budgeting process and delivery of agreed targets.

Key Tasks:

* Establish excellent working relationships with major distributors, formalise relationships through supply agreements
* Assess account need and potential
* Tailor products/services to individual account needs
* Consult on product development issues
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities
* Oversee account ordering/servicing
* Optimise account performance
* Co-ordinate account activity with Area Sales Managers and other staff members
* Monitor sales performance and keep forecasts up to dated

Candidate:

* Well educated with a thorough knowledge of the Window and Door Hardware market
* Technically competent and computer literate (specific product training will be given)
* Target driven
* Excellent communicator, able to present in a formal setting at all levels
* Able to lead and manage complex distributor relationships in conjunction with fabricator account managers
* Covering the whole of the UK and willing to travel and work away from home when required.
