Float Glass Industries is a major independent glass distributor and manufacturer of toughened and processed glass.

We have over 100 years experience in the glass industry, and are currently implementing a major investment programme aimed at providing our customers with the very best quality glass on time and at competitive prices.

As part of this strategy of on-going expansion and future development, we are looking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager for our Processed Glass Division as well as a Business Development Manager for our Northern Region.

Processed Sales Manager

This national position would suit a dynamic sales person with experience in glass processing.

Based in Manchester, our Processed Glass Division manufactures interior glazing solutions for a wide range of markets across the UK. Recent investment in new technology will ensure our customers enjoy the best service in the marketplace.

To this end, we now need to appoint an energetic sales professional, preferably with good industry knowledge and contacts to produce consistent sales results in line with ambitious targets.

Business Development Manager – Northern Region

This demanding position provides an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and highly motivated person to join a dynamic team and organisation that continues to prosper in this challenging industry.

Having gained sound glass experience within a busy sales environment over a number of years, the successful applicant will be responsible for developing a number of key accounts as well as achieving new business sales targets for a range of product & services: merchanted & toughened glass, cut size laminated and fire glass.

First class customer facing skills and the enthusiasm and desire to succeed in such a highly competitive industry are essential. A proven track record in sales, preferably within the merchanting / single toughened market, would be an advantage.
