AREA SALES MANAGER AND STOCK CONTROLLER

Float Glass Industries is a major independent glass distributor and manufacturer of IGU, toughened and processed glass.

We have over 100 years experience in the glass industry, and are currently implementing a major investment programme aimed at providing our customers with the very best quality products on time and at competitive prices.

As part of this strategy of on-going expansion and further development across all sectors of the business, we are looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager and Stock Controller

AREA SALES MANAGER

This demanding position provides an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and highly motivated person to join a dynamic team and organisation that continues to prosper in this challenging industry.

Having gained sound glass experience within a busy sales environment over a number of years, the successful applicant will be responsible for developing a number of key accounts as well as achieving a new business sales target.

First class customer facing skills and the enthusiasm and desire to succeed in such a highly competitive industry are essential. A proven track record in sales, preferably within the merchanting / single toughened market, would be an advantage.

A generous salary package including company car awaits the right person.

STOCK CONTROLLER

Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for maintaining stock levels of all glass stock as well as coordinating direct deliveries to customer sites.

This challenging position provides an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, reliable and proactive individual with good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent IT skills and experience of stock control, preferably MRP, are essential. Experience within the Glass Industry would be an advantage.

Wage is negotiable and will be commensurate with experience.
