EXCITING NEW YEAR OPPORTUNITY FOR IG SUPERVISOR

FLOAT GLASS INDUSTRIES LTD is to manufacture high performance insulating glass for the commercial glazing sector under the brand name of EVERSEAL IG from February 2008.

As a result we are looking to recruit a SUPERVISOR for our new fully automated production line which will manufacture the first gas filled commercial units in the UK in sizes up to 5 metres using TPS.

This demanding and challenging position provides an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual with the drive, commitment and enthusiasm to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be customer focused and have excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and attributes:

• IGU manufacture on a robot sealing automated line
• Detailed knowledge of high spec coated glasses
• Detailed knowledge of painted and insulated panels
• Working knowledge of BS EN 1279
• Man management and motivational skills
• Engineering background
• Good I.T. skills preferably with Albat & Wirsam Alcim software
• Good understanding of production flowWage is negotiable and will be commensurate with experience.
