Project Manager / Administrator Swansea

AB Glass is a fast growing company in the design, manufacture and distribution of Aluminium / Upvc, windows, doors, curtain walling, glass & glazing, sealed unit manufacture, and other related products for the commercial and domestic market. We are a Kawneer {Alcoa} dealer based in Swansea, South Wales. Due to Increased demand for the company’s products an opportunity has emerged for a talented Projects Manager / Administrator based at our Swansea office.

The Role:

• Reporting to the General Manager, you will plan, order and deliver the products to our customers, maintain the contract program, liaising with the customer, attend pre-contract meetings, organise manufacturing and installation of the projects, and apply or approve applications for payment or invoicing as required.

• As well as operating as an effective member of the management team you will develop strong internal and external relationships with our customers to enable you to understand there requirements.

• From the full understanding of the customer needs you will be expected to take a leading role in engineering product solutions which meet both customer and business objectives.

The Person:

• Must have several years experience in the door and window industry or the construction industry as QS or contract / project manager.

• Qualifications in the construction or window industry, with a technical knowledge and an ability working with 2D and 3D CAD systems are preferred attributes but not essential.

• A proven track record in project management preferably within the door, window or construction industry is essential.

• A self motivated and disciplined person who is prepared to operate hands on when required.

• A team player with clear leadership influence and communication skills.
