launches high performance PVC-U vertical slider
UK window systems company LB Plastics launched its new high-performance, co-extruded vertically sliding sash window to add to its range of fully Part L and Part B compliant windows at Interbuild last week.
Other
highlights include a new conservatory roof system, a range of egress window
options to comply with Part B regulations, and an all-new co-extruded
sliding patio.
'LB Plastics, market leader in the newbuild and social housing sectors, has been at the forefront of the drive to extend the range of aesthetically appealing, environmentally sustainable windows for the replacement and newbuild markets. Its Sheerframe co-extruded 6000 and 7000 systems, even with air-filled sealed units, meet the thermal performance requirements under Part L of the new Building Regulations. Used in conjunction with argon-filled units, they achieve the industry's highest ratings for standard windows.' says the company.
The
new co-extruded VS window includes a number of improved design features
- deep bottom rail, lowline gasketing and decorative horns - which increase
its appeal in newbuild applications and as a replacement for failing timber
sashes in conservation areas.
The new Sheerframe conservatory roof system is easy to construct and install, and offers a range of ventilation options. Already Sheerframe conservatories are making major inroads into the newbuild sector.
The all-new Sheerframe patio door system, available in bar length and kit form, also exceeds all Part L requirements. The new patio doors range, with low-emissivity safety glass, meets all the requirements of the Building Regulations and comfortably achieves the new Wm2/K performance requirements set under Part L of the regulations.
A number of new sculptured profiles and finishes add numerous design possibilities to the already comprehensive range of high-performance, co-extruded, four-chamber Sheerframe systems. Additional innovations will be revealed at the show. LB Plastics is also showing a selection of casement, tilt & turn and reversible windows - with egress capability - alongside its curtain walling, doors and Sheerline decking ranges.
