Volkswagen
Van in Free Interbuild Registration Draw
Industry professionals registering to attend Interbuild 2002 in June
at the NEC can be entered into a free prize draw in which they can win
a Volkswagen van worth £20,000.
All entrants will be entered into the draw, and the winner will be announced
on the Volkswagen stand at Interbuild.
Geoff Ross Marketing Director of Interbuild comments:
'We ran a similar competition for Interbuild 2000 and it was hugely
successful attracting over 34,000 pre registrations. With increasing
web usage throughout the construction industry and with our campaign
starting much earlier this time we are confident of beating this total
easily'.
Likewise Mike Owens, Marketing Communications Manager of Volkswagen
Commercial Vehicles is pleased with the new competition:
'The construction industry is obviously a major market for Volkswagen
and the win a van competition is an excellent way to make visitors aware
of Volkswagens commercial vehicles and generate visitor traffic
to our stand. We are looking forward to another successful show.'
The Volkswagen LT35 range has been designed to meet the needs of businesses
today. 'Because it's a Volkswagen you can expect high build quality,
a sensible range of standard equipment, a practical load area and an
excellent driving environment.' the company says.
The full LT35 range offers panel vans, chassis cabs and double cabs
with a wide choice of bodies including a factory built alloy dropside.
There are three wheelbase lengths to choose from and a range of engines
including four fuel efficient TDI diesels. The LT35 has a GVW of 3.5
tonnes and a payload of around 1.5 tonnes (depending on model).
Every LT35 diesel comes with extended service intervals of 30,000 miles
(15,000 mile oil change) and 3 year warranty.
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles are offering the winner of the prize
draw the opportunity to choose the LT35 that best suits their business
needs up to a value of £20,000 'On the Road'. That may be a panel
van or a dropside truck, or perhaps the chassis for a special body of
their choice.

2000
online visitor registrations for Interbuild
With
another four months to go before the show opens Interbuild is pleased
announce that it has already received over 2000 online visitor registrations
for the June 2002 exhibition.
Interbuild 2000 attracted 34,000 registrations through its website,
and for 2002 it is expecting to increase this figure significantly,
and by comparison is considerably ahead of the 2000 campaign already.
Geoff Ross, Marketing Director for Interbuild, strongly believes that
online registration is the way forward. He says: 'Web registrations
not only provide us with visitor data that is more accurate but it means
that we are able to send email reminders in the lead up to and during
the show ensuring a better conversion to attendance.'
Internet registrations are just one aspect of Interbuilds online
campaign. www.interbuild.com
is a revolutionary new site designed to help visitors plan their time
and exhibitors organise and market their presence at the show. For example,
its Product Locator function enables visitors to search for exhibitors
and products both before and after the show.
Interbuild takes place from the 9th to 13th June 2002, at Birminghams
NEC. The show represents an unmissable opportunity to see new products
and innovations, to network with industry colleagues and to find new
ideas and inspiration that will help drive your business forward.

Interbuild
announces '50/50' Golden Jubilee exhibitor area
Following the launch of their '50/50' Golden Jubilee feature for Interbuild
2002, the organisers have now added a '50/50' Golden Jubilee exhibitors'
area.
This area has been set aside specially for exhibitors wanting to display
interesting products from the last 50 years or concept products for
the future.
Geoff Ross, Marketing Director of Interbuild explains: 'Our '50/50'
Golden Jubilee feature has been very well received and this new area
provides the ideal way for exhibitors to get involved. Many of them
have some great concept products for the future and interesting artifacts
from the past - both of which are sure to be of great interest to our
visitors'.
The new '50/50' exhibitors' area will be located in Hall 5 at Interbuild
alongside The Bathroom Show incorporating Ceramic Tiles, Building Interiors,
Kitchens and Flooring. It will complement the existing '50/50' feature
area within hall nine of Structural Building displaying the best buildings,
products and innovations from the last 50 years and looking forward
to the next 50 years selected by a panel of key industry luminaries
and voted for by visitors through our web site.
