For over 90 years Gerard Kluyskens company has supplied Abrasive materials.
It supplies various abrasive products to the glass industry and is the
international distributor of Ferro Cerium Oxides. Located in New York
city the company supplies its products all over the world, on a direct
basis and through a network of distributors, most of them stock carrying.
The company supplies white cerium oxides, standard brown ceriums, coolant,
felt wheels, and abrasive products (alox, garnet, sil carbide)
During Glasstec Gerard Kluyskens Company and Ferro Electronic Materials
will launch their new Great White polishing products. The company claims
that this will be the first time that an economic White Cerium oxide
has become available for the flat glass industry: 'These Great White
cerium oxide products are more pure, easier to clean and have great
suspension characteristics. The stock removal and the surface quality
are superior to any other competative ceriums in their class.'
Two products will be launched: Miramax Great White 5330 and Miramax
Great White 5350. The Great White 5330 is the top of the range product.
Miramax Great White 5350 is an economically priced product with good
stock removal and surface quality for straight bevel application. Ferro's
Engineers developed a unique suspension system. 'Users of the Great
White Products will see a difference: Soft settle, less caking on equipment,
easy to remix and exceptional cleanability!' says the company.
