Glassrobots Oy, an experienced supplier of safety glass technology will feature its bending, tempering and laminating technology innovations for automotive and architectural glass applications at the glasstec exhibition.
Shapes with difficult, wrap-around corners and increased cross-bendings coupled with increasing glass sizes are characteristic of the modern windscreen design. The TFAe HS FuzzyBend range of windscreen bending furnaces from Glassrobots have been specifically designed for both short and long production runs in both OEM and ARG production. With the new TFAe HS FuzzyBend furnace windscreens with sags up to 32 mm are produced with the reliable gravity bending control method of Glassrobots.

Distortion free quality and dimensional accuracy of end product combined with higher capacity are based on the following features:

- The new enhanced bending programme of the TFAe HS with FuzzyBend individual percentage control of heating elements

- Bottom heating elements with individual control for different models

- Intelligent regrouping of certain heating elements

- Simultaneous movement of upper and lower tracks

Glassrobots vacuum conveyors are suitable for deairing of varying types of glasses, from difficult shapes of windscreens to laminated side lites. A movable vacuum pump and superior distribution hose design gives an exellent vacuum for higher capacities as well. The conveyor floor is located high so that the returning part of the conveyor is not heated, yielding lower energy consumption and longer life for the vacuum distribution hose.

Glassrobots is also introducing the members in the Rainbowmaker TSF Series of bending & tempering systems. These versions allow bending and tempering of increased glass sizes, the maximum glass size of the Combi and the Turbo version are 2500 x 3500 mm and 3500 x 2500 mm.

For the big girth versions, the system incorporates an automatic middle support. The Rainbowmaker TSF enables production of glasses with smaller girth and 'standard' height, as well as bigger girth with lower height.

Since the glass is heated and bent in the heating oven, there is no need to overheat the glass and the result is optically flawless glass. The system does not use expensive ceramic molds, but utilises a patented module type bending mold.

Besides bending equipment, Glassrobots also offers complete production lines for flat laminated safety glass.
Glassrobots' flat laminating lines offer the following features:

- Equally suited for the production of stock or custom sizes.

- Batch processing for small lites to optimise the line capacity.

- High convection for effective heating - for clear, coloured or coated glass.

- Automatic measurement of laminate thickness, ensuring correct settings for press rollers and conveyor speed.

- Designed specifically for ease of operation and maintenance with user-friendly Windows-based graphic interface. Optional recording of humidity and temperature data in the clean room and storage room.

- Solutions for laminating tempered glass and special glass in particular.
