patented designs show the creativity and professionalism of the 1867
founded traditional company from Solingen.
The latest example of the developments of Eduard Kronenberg GmbH is
the 'series 3 connector with mid-rest' - the latest generation of EK
steel-connectors. The small mid rest combines the advantages of safe
and firm finding of the spacer bar centre, as well as stability. The
series 3 connector claims to set new standards with its 'tabs located
at different heights'.
'Another important glasstec-subject for EK is the global protection
of the atmosphere. Because of the European 'Energie-Einsparverordnung'
(EnEV = Ecological energy reduction program) this is especially important
for the edge seal. With the aim being to waste less heat, materials
with less reaction can be sawed, bent and used as a spacer frame. The
problem here is: The more complicated and the more thin walled the structure
of the edge seal – the higher are the demands of the connecting
element. Providing the solution for such problems is one of the strengths
of EK.
