Adds More Colours

German
surface finishing specialist, Hornschuch will be displaying its extended
product range of skai-brand, high-performance window profile films.
The 35 print decors and 20 plain colours which the company is now offering
meet almost all the needs of PVC window manufactures, architects and
designers. 'The demand on the British market for PVC windows is vigorously
on the increase' explains Sven Hlywiak, Sales Manager for the skai covertech
Business Sector. 'And, as we have observed from other European markets,
the trend in the UK is also moving towards more colour and design -
which can be satisfied largely by PVC windows.
One crucial condition is high product quality - as well as a wide range
of colours and decors. With skai, this is guaranteed by the BBA certification,
which Hornschuch has received for a number of its decors in the past,
and product guarantees lasting up to ten years.
Hornschuch and its skai brand, which is already a market leader on the
continent for films, foam films and coated substrate materials, have
long been the name for high-quality surfaces in the Great Britain also.
Reputable metal processors have been using special skai covertech metal
laminate foils for a decade and, because of their design and functional
advantages, the demand in the British furniture industry for skai furniture
thermoplastic films has been steadily on the increase ever since. With
window profile films, the company can look back on 20 years marketing
experience.
Hornschuch was able to enter the lrish market two years ago. The greatest
sensation was caused by the decors 'maigrün' and 'birke rosé'.
'These trend-setting effects have a great potential to do well on the
British market' added Sven. We will also be covering the needs of our
current clients with 'Kirsche Piemont' and the two mahogany decors,
Macoree' and 'Sapeli', and 'Golden oak'.
Hornschuch's comprehensive customer consultation service is another
of the company's strong points. 'We are also continuously extending
our development, sales and technical marketing divisions' emphasised
Rainer lrouschek who took over the management of the skai covertech
business sector on 1st January 2004. Being able to offer customers a
comprehensive system consultation service and support them in numerous
problems relating to processing has also been a crucial factor in the
choice of marketing partner: White Extrusion Machinery (based in East
Sussex) which supplies, among other things, coating machines which are
ideal for processing skai covertech films.
