Get
Down and Help Others at 'The Glassex Gig' 2003
The
event that has now become known as the annual kick-off for the Glassex
social scene, 'The Glassex Gig' will take place on the evening of Sunday
23rd March, with all ticket proceeds contributing to worthy children's
charities.
Featuring, as ever, the percussive skills of well-known industry veteran
Gary Morton - now Non-Executive Director for Deceuninck Holdings (UK)
Ltd - behind his rock and funk covers band, the Glassex Gig is being
sponsored by Glassex organisers EMAP Maclaren in association with Glass
Age.
Once again, the gig is being hosted in aid of GM Fundraising, Gary Morton's
established fundraising venture for children's charities. Set up eight
years ago by Gary himself, the organisation has since raised tens of
thousands of pounds for children's charities, including the Acorn Children's
Hospice in the West Midlands.
Venue for The Glassex Gig is the highly salubrious Public House The
Hibernian in Pershore. Tickets are priced at the usual £10 each.
Numbers for this extremely popular event are limited so get your order
