Interims 20% up on Last Year
Pilkington today issued the following trading update ahead of its interim
results announcement for the period to 30 September 2005: Profit before

Alcoa Inc. shares shed almost 7% on Friday after the company
warned that Hurricane Rita, low aluminium prices and higher raw-material
costs would take a bite out of its third-quarter profit. Alcoa announced
