of Darby Group plc has announced a trading update at the AGM on 7th May.
'The Company continues to operate in an extremely competitive marketplace,
and at present there are some signs of uncertainty in the economy. Nevertheless,
we view the future with confidence, and the Company is now well equipped
in terms of management and capacity to maximise the opportunities which

Reinforces its Balance Sheet Structure - Earnings up by 5.9%
The Deceuninck Group achieved consolidated
sales of 362.2m euro in 2002. Current net profit grew by 20% to 32.7m
