Veka Advert
We lead this week's news with a warning from the European Chamber of Commerce against firms who are rushing headlong into signing deals in China following WTO accession: apparently 'the business environment in China has become worse since WTO accession', according ECC Vice President Jan Borgonjon, with increasing amounts of red tape and use of 'non-tariff barriers'.
Deceuninck Advert

We received a mild rebuke from Richard Yule (from Scottish glass firm AC Yule) for being rather too 'Anglocentric' in our comment on the Rugby World Cup last week. We would naturally like to point out, for the benefit of our Irish, Scottish and Welsh readers, that all at The Gl@zine are just as proud of the Celtic teams' heroic efforts, and we are of course rooting for a Scotland victory against Fiji (after their resounding thrashing at the hands of the French).

Tony Higgin It's only a shame that everyone can't win, isn't it?.....
