Dedicated to the innovation and technology involved in glass production, GP&T will take place from 11th to 13th November 2003 at the NEC, Birmingham and already boasts a number of major names as 'launch partners'. Companies such as Glaverbel, Pilkington Glass and St Gobain Glass will join Bystronic Lenhardt, Promac and Tamglass, as well as Bohle, the GGF, Ritec and Willian Design and have confirmed their intentions to work closely with the organisers to ensure the success of the event. Click here for the full release.

As we all know Glasstec not only represents an opportunity to see the latest the glass industry has to offer, but also a chance to meet up with old friends and acquaintances. To that end I will be walking the aisles at Glasstec and look forward to seeing many of you there. If not in the halls then at the Irish Bar in the Altstadt.

We also heard only yesterday of a story which is sure to be one of the major talking points of the show: the proposed 'co-operation' between Tamglass and Bavelloni. See below for details

Hope to see you in Düsseldorf, but in the meantime please e-mail me at tony@theglazine.com
