Glassex
is Upon Us!
Glassex opened its doors this morning and I for one hope that
it is a good one for all those involved. I never quite understood the
anti-Glassex argument myself - where else can you see 150 companies under
one roof?
One thing I will be particularly interested in this year is the late night on Wednesday - when the show will stay open until 7pm. Without a Sunday opening this year, it could be a success with people normally stuck in the office midweek.
No Glassex would be complete without its upsets and rumours and this year is no exception with doubt still hanging over the future of the Abbott Group as Plastmo appears to have changed hands. Staff at Abbott have been locked out according to local newspaper reports.
