Issues Still Dominant
Epwin Group took part in last week's successful Ecobuild and
chairman Jim Rawson has some warnings for the PVC market: ‘What will
be of concern for the plastics industry is the huge amount of 'disinformation'
in the market place surrounding the product's sustainability, he says.’
Talking of green issues, latest government findings on Home Improvement Packs show that nearly one third of buyers on examining the HIP planned to carry out recommendations in the EPC to improve the energy efficiency of their home.
This issue of The Gl@zine marks the beginning of our Glassex and GP&T Preview. With a new midweek timeslot, this year's show promises to be an interesting experiment.
