Tipster Picks Winners!
Clearing up the confusion about glass surface treatments, the different technologies, terminologies and marketing claims was the focus of a trade press seminar last week which was staged by glass surface specialist Ritec at the Building Centre. Suggesting that there was popular confusion surrounding claims by manufacturers about the properties of self-clean, easy clean, non stick or low maintenance surface coatings, Steve Byers has attempted to 'demystify' the selction process on a 'horses for courses' basis. We
give an overview of the Ritec presentation (which follows
a successful seminar at the GPD in Tampere earlier in
the year) below, and will cover the technical arguments
in more detail next week, after which we will open up
a discussion on the Glazine Blogsite about the topic
in general.
