G07 Awards Show Industry in Rude Health
This week's Gl@zine is, quite rightly, dominated by news from last Friday's G07 Awards night, which was well attended, highly enjoyable, and proved that the industry still cares about winning.

Veka Advert

Several companies have already sent in individual accounts of the evening - WHS Halo and its customers, for example managed no fewer than four awards, while Masterframe has managed four individual wins in three years. A fantastic achievement by these companies and deservedly applauded by their peers.

Global Composite Doors

G07 also saw the winner of the Bohle Glass Student of the Year announced. Gary Dean warned us to expect something different in saying in his introduction that students come in all shapes and sizes, which was a polite way of saying that winner Rosalind Grogan of the City of Bath College is no spring chicken. Congratulations to Ros, for beating off the youngsters to win first place.

Ultraframe Advert

We were especially pleased on The Gl@zine that the winner of the Specialist of the Year Award was fellow dot-commer - and first time entrant - TimberWindows.com. The company was said by the judges as having helped bring timber windows into the 21st century. For the picture gallery page, go here, otherwise see below for individual stories from some of the winners.
