Edgetech Shines in USA
The US market continues to struggle, with NSG and Masco both reporting a decline in sales and profitability. With much of Europe still fairly bouyant, the vagaries of the American market do not appear to be affecting our economy much, if at all. One ray of sunshine from across the pond this week is the news that Edgetech has been ranked as one of the fastest growing companies in the US. More about this below.

Veka Advert
NSG could not have consolidated its long standing relationship with Pilkington at a better time - Pilkington's two strongest markets, the UK and Germany, have both performed well, at a time when the domestic Japanese market is suffering not least due to a general economic downturn and a weak Yen, and the US continues to underperform.

global composite door

The misery of the English summer seems to have taken their toll, with many escaping the country for some foreign sunshine. In the event that any Gl@zine readers were just about to enter the G07 Awards before deciding instead to jet off with bucket and spade, the deadline has been extended to the end of this week. So get your skates on - it only takes a few minutes to enter online at www.g-awards.com

Ultraframe Advert

Winners of the Pilkington Rugby competition on the Gl@zine watched Saints Rugby League Football Club beat French side Catalan Dragons at Wembley in a thrilling match.
