A
Professional Finish
The rain started early and all the drivers prepared to don waterproof overalls. However, the shower was light and short and the track soon dried again. Although the clouds were threatening the rain held off for the rest of the race and the finish was actually in bright sunshine! Congratulations to all who took part - see below for a link to images from the day. This week, the anticipated acquisition of IPWFI by HomePro has been made official. Combined with the recent launch of HomePro Money - and other upcoming initiatives - the IPWFI purchase sees us close to fulfilling our ambition of being able to deliver all the business product needs of our customers - whether in insurance, financial products, discounted materials or lead generation, says CEO Kim Rehfeld. If
proof were needed that the window industry is looking
for diversification, the interest generated in last
week's article on Mark Rogers' new artificial grass
business - Viridion - certainly provided it!
Mark was so swamped with replies that he has decided
to hold a special demonstration day. More about this
below.
Finally, two more industry stalwarts have resurfaced in new and exalted positions: Gary Firth is Head of New Business at LB Plastics (although his walkabout with James Lichfield at Glassex rather gave that away!) and Haydon Statham has emerged as National Sales Manager at Phoenix Door Panels.
