More signs of a maturing market this week, with two well established fabricators signing long term supply contracts, both with VEKA. Andrew Wright Ltd, based in Irvine, Ayrshire has signed a five-year contract, with Paramount Windows opting for a three-year option.

I was disappointed to read Paul Gerrard's comments on The Gl@zine (see here) about the PAS24-1 specification. But I agree that it 'focuses on brute force and ignorance'. That's exactly the point. Most burglaries are committed by opportunistic burglars who don't carry modern lock picking tools with them, instead they carry screwdrivers and crow bars.
