We hope all our readers had an enjoyable Easter break and
made the most of the great weather. With noses firmly back to the grindstone,
we report this week on an interesting co-operative product development
between Pilkington Glass and aluplast.
We are also happy to report that the long running legal battle between Ultraframe and Burnden Group is now finally over, with leave to proceed to the House of Lords being turned down. All that remains now is working out the damage - expected to be somewhere in the region of £5m.
This week we also announce two important dates. The dates for G-07 have been announced, which will be held once again at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on Friday October 12th. Meanwhile, Häfele is celebrating the opening of a new showroom at the company’s Manchester regional office on Salford Business Park on Tuesday April 17th with two CPD presentations to building design and construction specialists.
