HIP Scheme
The latest announcement from government proposes that estate agents must include Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) with their property particulars, and that EPCs should form part of the forthcoming Home Information Pack scheme, which is supposed to come into force on 1st June. So far though, details of which elements of the building - apart from our good old friends loft and cavity insulation - are somewhat scarce, and the hope that double glazing gets a mention must be pretty slim.
