The new Pilkington plc website, http://www.pilkington.com, has received a major award just four weeks after re-launch - for 'best practice' in investor relations.

What is slightly galling for us at The Gl@zine is that had we received those alerts last Monday we could have brought you the story last week instead of today. Perhaps we should go daily... Anyway, I hope our coverage of the Big Story contains something of interest and doesn't seem like a reheated old dinner six days after the event.

Other items of interest worth flagging up in this issue are an updated exhibition list with a couple of building shows in the Middle East, one in Dubai and a new one in Cairo and an expanded list of Interbuild exhibitors. You may also notice that the entire content for the Products section, People and Projects has all been entirely refreshed, so please delve into those.
