Tidings of Great Joy
Just when we thought it was safe to relax for five minutes over the Christmas period, we get snowed under with preview releases for Glassex: these are running at about three a week just from the organisers, let alone the efforts of the exhibitors themselves. Being an internet based weekly, of course, we can accomodate these, and we are delighted to keep our readers on their toes, lest they forget that the UK's premier glazing show is only 11 weeks away!

Veka Advert
It's always good to see an old face re-appear, and the old face of Mike Crewdson is no exception. Having had a long and distinguished career in the window industry - after eschewing a more constructive use of a psychology degree! - Mike has been busy in the past few months launching Connect UK, a low cost telecoms package designed specifically for his old mates in the window business. Ain't that nice of him?

Synseal TV Campaign

Other interesting news this week includes the appointment of ex-Scotplas MD Jon Torkington to head up Pulse Building Products, a new division of 'sleeping giant' The PVC Group. Pulse currently has only two outlets, but Jon has big plans.

So, it only remains for us to wish all Gl@zine readers (and that's 11,400 subscribers plus over 200,000 unique visitors to the website in 2006) a very merry Christmas, and a healthy and profitable New Year. We will next appear in your inboxes on January 9th.
