The UK might have the worst
record
in Europe in terms of our environmental credentials, and have the least
'green' consumers, but at least our glass and glazing industry is doing
its bit.
This week we hear that Rapid Frame has achieved an A rating by using a combination of Super Spacer® sealed units, aluplast's IDEAL 70 window system, 4mm Pilkington Optiwhite™ and 4mm Pilkington K Glass™ with 16mm argon gas filling, thus claiming to be the lowest cost A rated window so far available.
