The
Winds of Change
On the one hand the Government continues to clamp down on door-to-door sales, a key weapon in the armoury of yesterday's double glazing market. On the other, we hear that Synseal is offering its customers websites with a seven day turn around in its efforts to reach out to the consumer in a decidedly more modern approach. Interestingly, we received two reports this week: one from Palmer on the UK domestic glazing market in 2005, the other from IC Consulting about the same thing, but for the whole of Europe. I am sure you will find these useful. Our
glasstec 06 preview starts this week, with a
stand guide featuring a selection of well known names
out of the 1200 plus exhibitors, and most of the 70
or so UK and Irish companies who you will find at the
Düsseldorf glass show in October. We also have
full details of the stand offerings of some 16 companies
so far, all of which can be accessed from the Exhibitor
