We Don't Think it's All Over
WC06 is over, and what to say? The same referee destroyed the hopes of two nations by sending off two key players, and got booed during the presentation, while the folly of the two dismissed players - one young and headstrong, and another who came out of retirement to win fame and infamy within minutes of each other - remains more interesting than the game itself to most of the media. In terms of organisation? Germany 1, FIFA 0.

Veka Advert
We haven't got long of course before we are required to hail the conquering heroes of the various nations back into the UK Premiership, and we will be once again running, in conjunction with Pilkington Glass, our own Fantasy Football League, with some fantastic prizes - in addition to the glory - on offer, which will start next week, so watch this space.

Synseal Legend

Continuing on the football theme David Beckham and Sven Goran Eriksson will be present at the G 06 Awards in the form of impressionist Alistair McGowan who has been signed up to host this years event. Tables are selling fast so stake your place at the industry event of the year by clicking here.
