Charity Bash shows Industry has Big Heart

In a massive show of generosity the glazing industry dug deep and raised close to £50,000 to comfort terminally ill children at the Hope House Hospice. At the Palace Hotel in Manchester on Saturday night the GM Fund raiser saw prominent members of the window business do verbal battle for auction prizes ranging from a days golf with Sir Norman Wisdom to a signed Manchester United football shirt.

At a time when common business practice is to trim spending it was a heart-warming sight to see over 500 people gather under the same roof and actively contribute to such a worthy charity.
