There
is one other area of differentiation which hasn't become tired and 'me-too',
and that is marketing. Below the line stuff like customer days out (check
out Glazekart at Glassex, for example) still has all sorts of avenues
to explore, and Awards are still a good marketing tool (our own G06
Awards, for example). |

While not wishing to blow our own trumpet too much, The Gl@zine remains at the cutting edge of B2B internet marketing and only last week we delivered a record number of visits to Synseal's website following our coverage of its new 'steel cut for free' campaign. We have a report from internet specialists Zendor this week which confirms that the only way is up in terms of selling on the web, mainly due to the growing take-up of broadband. Companies who are not offering some kind of direct commerce or ordering capability from their sites are definitely missing out. GLASSEX 2006
