Regulations, Regulations...
This week we have an interesting article from Barry McMahon, K2's Technical Director, in which he tries to pour oil on the troubled waters of the Building Control Debate. He states quite clearly: 'There are no proposals to bring conservatories of less than 30 sq.m. under Part A (structure) of the Building Regulations and there is absolutely no proposal to force manufacturers to produce conservatories using products from systems companies who have formed some kind of alliance or who manufacture both window and roof systems'. On the latter point, it is interesting that this week we report that Wendland has signed a deal with Rehau. More on this here or below.
