Not many people appear to have seen the Latium acquisition coming, perhaps
sceptical about claims of the turnaround at HW, still unsure of the true
cost of the pinking claims, and unconvinced of HW's saleability in what
is essentially a buyers' market. It will be very interesting to see what
Brian Kennedy makes of the five brands he has bought under the HW Systems
banner: from past experience - eg Everest - we may expect to see some
rationalisation followed by MBOs. Watch this space! |
