Some more upbeat news this week: the management of English Architectural Glazing has undertaken an MBO, with founder Norman Sheldrake hanging up his boots. Saint Gobain has reported a reasonable first quarter, although sales increases have come mainly from the Building products division, with flat glass remaining pretty, well, flat.
