Veka Advert

Now, we learn that Deceuninck is to merge its two UK operations with the closure of its Delph (Status Systems) plant a virtual certainty, with the loss of some 80 jobs. More about this below. We also hear that Peter Abbott has quit Veka, having announced his intention to do this over a year ago, but staying on to oversee the Vekaplast sale. This has led to some rumours which we are pleased to help quash (see story below).

Finally, it appears that bid speculation around Ultraframe has finally subsided, with shares easing off from an April high of 62p back down to 54p today.
