PHEW,
WHAT A WEEK
Well, Glassex has finally closed its doors, and what a show it was. In
most shows I can remember, the final Tannoy announcement of the show's
ending was greeted with a rousing cheer by the assembled host of tired
and foot-worn (not to mention hung-over) stand personnel.
While the lure of hearth and home still proved compelling for most, it
is clear from some of the comments below that there was a feeling of 'if
we only had another day we could make even more money!'
For those of you who did not make it to the show, I hope we brought you
a flavour of it through our Daily Gl@zines.
For those of you who had no interest whatsoever in Glassex, may I take
this opportunity to apologise for clogging up your email inboxes and assure
you that as from today we will be reverting to our normal mix of domestic
and international news from the glass and window industries.

GL@ZINE
BOOSTS GLASSEX
We were very grateful for the support given to Glassex by THE GL@ZINE
throughout the visitor promotion period and by its daily editions on the
open days of the show, commented Glassex press officer Paul Godwin.
Visitor numbers saw a rise in the afternoon sessions, and we feel
the The Gl@zine Glassex Daily was a contributing factor. We are sure that
our subsequent research will support this point he said.

the meantime. please email me at tony@theglazine.com

2002 EXHIBITOR QUOTES
'It's been a superb exhibition - the whole show was very slick and well-organised.
We've never had to worry about anything because any issues have been dealt
with smoothly and quickly all the way down the line. I feel that the organisers
have lots of drive and that the new ideas they have put into the show
are good.' [More
