New
Liniar System Sets the Standard
A recently launched PVCu window system is receiving
a great response from fabricators by offering an entirely lead free product.
The new Liniar window system, launched on 14th February by Derby based
HL Plastics, features Calcium Zinc instead of a lead based stabiliser.
Liniar is one of only a handful of manufacturers to have already met the
industry wide commitment to phase out lead from all products by 2015.
HL Plastics Managing Director Roger L Hartshorn said: 'Were extremely
proud to have launched one of the first completely lead free PVCu window
systems in the UK.
'Although some suppliers offer a limited selection of lead free profiles
few can boast of 100% lead free production.'
Liniar Design Manager Adrian Redshaw said, 'As weve designed our
system from scratch, rather than tinkering with existing models, weve
been able to utilise the latest technology to tailor our system around
todays demands, not those of years gone by. A lead free product
is one of the many advantages Liniar has to offer.'
As well as meeting the industry commitment to phase out lead, the new
Liniar system has also been awarded BSI Kitemarks for enhanced security
performance and Secured by Design status by the Association of Chief Police
Officers. All accreditations achieved with less than half the steel re-inforcement
of established systems.
The Liniar windows system is supported by a comprehensive range of PVCu
home and garden products all made in the UK from a recycled core
with a durable coloured skin.
The Liniar home and gardens range includes decking, caravan verandah and
sundecks, and fence and gravel board systems.
