Leading Role in Europe

I would like to reassure Joe Hague (Investment debate heats up, 22nd April) that Swisspacer is committed to help grow the market for warm edge products and high performance windows. We've taken a leading role in doing this across Europe for the last 10 years.

Warm edge technology is a key factor in growing the market for energy efficient windows. Our own product is ideal for home improvement, but it is also specified for high performance structural applications, such as the iconic Swiss Re 'Gherkin' and the HSBC Building in London and many other tall buildings in the UK and Ireland, where long life and staying power is a prerequisite.

We have every confidence in the prospects for the UK market and we believe in investing in the capacity to grow. However, investing doesn't make sense if you can - and you can with products such as Swisspacer - get top performing sealed units and windows without having to invest in special machinery.
